Pawatech Solutions, in collaboration with Compassion International Kenya and under the leadership of Clifford Otieno, is driving a powerful mission to equip young people with future-ready digital skills that unlock global opportunities beyond the traditional 9-to-5 career path.“As we look ahead into the next century, leaders will be those who empower others.” – Bill Gates. This quote perfectly reflects the heart of this partnership: empowerment through opportunity. We proudly celebrate 44 young people from Narok Town (KAG) who have successfully completed the Digital Freelance Program. The program focused on practical, high-demand digital skills including content creation, virtual assistance, AI-powered graphic design, and digital marketing.
Through hands-on training and mentorship, participants gained the confidence and expertise needed to compete in the global freelance economy. They have successfully turned learning into earning. The results are inspiring. Graduates are already securing freelance contracts online, with earnings starting from USD 154 (KES 20,000). Top earners are reaching USD 1,500 (KES 200,000), and collectively the group is generating USD 9,277.16 (KES 1.2M) per month. This is proof that when young people are empowered with relevant digital skills, opportunity is not limited by geography or traditional employment systems. Talent, when supported and equipped, can thrive anywhere.
This initiative is more than training. It is transformation. It is about building independence, creating sustainable livelihoods, and opening digital doors in today’s dynamic global economy. Congratulations to all 44 graduates. Your dedication and resilience inspire us to continue expanding access to digital opportunities and shaping a future where every young person has the tools to write their own success story.
